Finally! The war is over! I haven't been able to post in a while obviously because I was at war. So i hope all of you remember me. If you don't, my name is Jarlamas It was brutal. But at least we defeated the Persians! While I was gone, I received so many questions. One the was asked most frequently was "Why is Alexander the Great called the great?" When Alexander and I were together i asked him that very same question. He told me that some think it is because he was trained by Aristotle or because he tamed the horse Bucephalus. I always thought it was because he was an achiever. Even from an early age. That is probably how he tamed the horse and perfected the Macedonian military style. He has determination to achieve many goals and that is exactly what he did.

People also asked me if the different cultures helped the army or hurt the army. I think that the different cultures helped us because as we traveled we got to learn how to make different weapons, food, medicine, etc. It was very helpful to have all these things to help us get through the war.

I think Alexander the great is much like Teddy Roosevelt. They are both very smart and know exactly what they are doing. They both are also valued very much as people. I hope i answered all of your questions! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

  4. I thought that your blog post was entertaining. I like how you explained why you were answering these question. In the first paragraph you I thought you had good information. In the last two paragraphs i think you could have elaborated more and been more detailed. Overall I thought this was a solid blog post.

  5. I like the idea of it being a blog in the fourth century and the person being famous. You need more facts though but, it is very well.
