1. Being a soldier of Alexander the great, I think he was called the great because he was a very skilled military general. He conquered Persia, witch was really impressive because Persia at that time was the most powerful nation. Alexander's father want to conquer Persia, but he never got too. One of the things that help Alexander and his solider (including me) win, was the phalanx. The phalanx was a 16 by 16 group of soldiers with 13 foot long spears. This formation help us conquer Persia, because it helps take out the enemies soldiers. I'm proud to have served the most smartest military mind in history.
2. When we conquered Persia and Greece, Alexander like to adopt all the different lands cultures. I think this did not do his country any good, because they all spoke different languages, practiced different cultures, and had different religions, witch would make some arguing go on in the country. When Alexander died his country didn't stay as one big nation. It got divided up into 3 parts. The reason it got divide into 3 parts is because everybody thought there culture was better than the other peoples culture, witch made arguing. The reason the country stayed together under Alexander's reign was because of Alexander an no one else.
3.George Washington was a great leader. He is similar to the Alexander but different. The reasons why he is similar is they both were very good military generals, witch both lead there troops to victories. The also defeat the most powerful nation's in there time period. The reason they are different was after George Washington's died the U.S.A stayed as one nation. While after Alexander died his empire that he built up it split. George Washington is great because he built an large army out of farmers to rise up a beat the most powerful nation of there time.

I like how you said that Persia was very powerful. That shows how difficult it was to defeat them but Alexander did it which shows how powerful he was. You explain things very well. Your answer in the second question was an answer that i would never think of. But now that i read yours it makes a lot of sense and makes me think differently about the question and makes me want to change my answer! I think George Washington was just like Alexander as well. They both were very good at being in battle and fought very strong countries just like you said. The way you explain things is very good because you explain things in a way people understand and like but no one would ever think to answer that way. Thats good because it shows how unique you are!
